Hi my name is Alex. I am 20 years old. I got married on January 20, 2007. I've always been into workin on old cars and building engines. I attended Nashville Auto Diesel College in Nashville, TN. I now am working in Boonville, IN at Muscle Motors, we build engines and everyday is a blast. Now then to the Jeep, I bought it about 2 weeks before the wedding and my wife was thrilled (haha), it's my first 4x4. "It" is a 1976 Jeep Wagoneer 401/th400/quadratrac, I purchased this jewel for a grand total of $250. I then hauled it home, installed a battery, and drove it off the trailer. I just recently sold the engine and trans for $600 (already made money). I am a small block chevy man, I figured if that guy wanted my engine and I have plenty others, sell the 401 install my 383 stroker and with the left over money do a SOA and Shackle-Flip, trim the fenders and run the 35x12.50x15 Buckshots I have layin at my mom and dad's. And then we'll go muddin!!
But anyway I'm glad that you all are here and thank you for letting me join this group. This is a great witnessing tool and God uses us to spread the Word on the longest trail, up the tallest rock, and through the deepest mud!!! Thanks again and God bless

Welcome to Grace, Alex - we're glad to have you here! Hopefully we can wheel or full size Jeeps together sometime. 8) Are you planning on going to ECI or Ouray? I keep telling these guys that FSJ's are cheaper to build than just about everything else, now they can see more proof of that.

Here's the build thread on my FSJ. The first page & the last 2 pages have almost all the pics, the rest is mostly chit chat. There's also links to a video or two there.

I'm new to 4x4's, but I'll try anything as long as money allows. Also something to point out is that I grew up in Southern Illinois, home of the flat landers, so mud is about the only thing I know. Our biggest hill is a pile of corn.

Oh and Bluegill I've been watching your build for a long time even before I joined. How's it going? I'm also superal30 at ifsja.org
