Hello from Oregon

Hi all! Tired Iron signed up for TC forums, and I saw this link in his sig line. It is so awesome to see an offroad forum based on Christ, so awesome! My wife and I are believers, for a little over eight years now. We have a 1997 ZJ that is my daily, and a 1992 YJ that is her toy on the weekends. We are expecting our first baby after eight years of marriage this May, and we are excited! One of these days I'll post our testimony, but I'm a little tired tonight.

There just isn't much Christian coverage of anything fun out here but maybe hunting. Other than that, I'm on the "Wicked West" Coast. Hard to be a good Christian out here. The funny part is, I live in an area of around 25,000 with George Fox University here, and the highest concentration of churches in all of Oregon. GFU IS a Christian college, too. I love Oregon, though. Probably won't ever move out of state. Wouldn't mind the East side. More wildlife, less liberals...

I too loved the parts of Oregon I saw. If I was forced to choose a western state to live in, OR would be it. Northwestern WA is nice too, but all the Californian transplants seem to be ruining it. But, like I tell everyone - I had to go around the world -twice- just to find out how wonderful it is to live in east TN. 8)
