There has been quite a bit of interest in heading up to Graceland on the 29th, so I started this thread. Post up some time suggestions, too.

Since I haven't seen the place yet, I'll probably tag along with this group instead of Stoney. Besides, I'll probably be driving the TJ. Doesn't look like Jules & the youngens will be able to make the M&G, and the FSJ still needs shock towers welded on.

 Wow, Graceland is just plain awesome - plenty of class 4 & 5 stuff! Brad definitely showed everyone how it's done. 8) Although Matt's front driveshaft came apart on "the slab", he made a nice comeback & climbed the ledge that Johnny broke a rear D60 shaft on. Brad then made short work of the same slab that yanked Matt's driveshaft. By the end of the day, most rig owners were second guessing George's assesment of whether they could make it or not.
There is also some moderate stuff at Graceland (on the east side of the "pit" & slabs), but most of us "moderate" rigs didn't play on it - other than a couple of steep hill climbs. Biggest reasons I didn't play on the moderate rocks - First, other rigs were parked on them (we need to work on that  ). Second, for quite a while there was a non-stop show of built rigs playing on class 4 & 5 stuff, had to get pics! 8) Third, it's my wife's Jeep - I'd rather not occupy the doghouse, ya know?
Awesome day, we even got several trees cleared out too. :smokin: I'll post my pics when I get home, but several of them won't turn out right because of trees blocking the shot, and my camera was a tad slow from pushing the button to actually snapping the pic. :?
Brad, Johnny, Matt - you guys rock :!:
(so does everyone else that was there, but gotta give props to the buggies  )

Thanks everybody for the first of many great times togather. Thanks Jeep07 for the video of the axle break. The axle is @ the machine shop getting bored and the new alloy 35 splines are on the way. We'll see.
Gotta get ready for Harlan. For any of you guys with 4x4 shops, let George do the spotting, it's good for busisness.

Graceland was a Blast! That place has a lot of potential, with difficult lines and Georges encouragement you can play for the better part of the day or spend a weeks pay there.
