I'm posting up dads projects because I have as much "wrenching" time and decision making on his cars as I do mine. There are no 4x4's in this thread but i think you will enjoy the pics anyhow.Plus it shows the overwhelming amount of work dad and I have done and have to do to finish up all these projects. All of these projects pretty much have been ground up restorations. First is his 56 chevy 2dr hardtop. It has a supercharged 350,turbo 400,narrowed 12 bolt chevy.

Next he has four 70 thru 72 nova's.His red nova has a 350,700r4, 10 bolt with a 3.42 gear.We built this car to go down the highway.

His green nova is going to be our track car.It has a 496,powerglide,and a built 10 bolt(Richmond gears,spool,mosier axles,c-clip eliminator,slide a links)

And the last nova.Still in primer, it will eventually be black with white rally stripes. It has a 454 with an edelbrock dual 4 setup.

Then we have a 72 gmc pu with a 400 small block chevy,700r4 trans, and a ford nine inch rear.We bought this truck like it is with the intentions of some rust repair, paint and interior work, lower it and a set of seventeens.

And finally we have a 64 elcamino. I dont have any pics of it at this time.It is the same color as the red nova with a 350,turbo 350 trans. It is really a nice car.I will try and get some pics.

Forgot a shot of the green nova

Gordon you are right it is priceless that we share a common interest and desire to build these old cars.Through all of my 20's, I for the most part lived on the west coast and dad lived out here.Dad is 56 and I am 37.I moved out here when I was 30 and we have been having a good time building these old cars ever since I got out here. That one thing has kept us pretty close.Would not trade it for nothing. We are at a point where we have agreed we have to many projects and need to finsh up all of them before we start another.Plus dad is at the age he would like to do a little more fishing and a lot less wrenching. As for me you would have to torch the wrench out of my hand.
