Thanks for letting me join. There is really not much to tell about myself. I'm married and we have a son who is going to be 12 next week. I love anything that gets me outside especially if it gets me into the mountains of east TN. I cycle, both on the road and on the trail.
Last year I bought a 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and it's my first 4 wheel drive. I love my Jeep and I love hitting the trails, but I don't have a lot of experience behind the wheel on the trail. Shortly after I bought my Jeep I met one of your members in Erwin on top of the mountain. Gordon may remember me, but it was almost a year ago. I have been watching the board on and off for the last year but I have been really busy at work and haven't had much spare time. I would love to go on some of your rides in the near future. One that sparked my interest this week was little stoney. I have been wanting to ride this trail for a while, but I don't want to do it solo. I would have loved to have gone today, but I am still catching up on yard work from a very busy July and 1st part of August. Plus, I got home really late from the race last night and wanted to sleep in a little this morning.
How do I post a picture of my ride in my signature? I have a site I can hos the pic on.

Here is the ride. I have added a few things since this picture. I took this picture on the trail to dick creek falls in Erwin.

Looks like you've got a nice & very capable rig there! Don't worry about not having much wheeling experience, it will come. Every one of us were new wheelers at one time. You're always welcome to join us on any ride!
Feel free to ask any questions you might have, the only dumb question is one that isn't asked. There is a multitude of experience here between all the members, and you won't get flamed like on other sites.

Hey, welcome. Glad you joined us. And, yes - I remember meeting & chatting.
As the others have said, join right in. You would have enjoyed Stony. It was awesome yesterday. Your Rubi would have no problems there. Stony is just that, lots of rocks, and virtually no mud. There is a wealth of experience here, so for both rig building & trail conditions/wheeling everyone will help you.
Please do join in on our rides, and make sure to mark down the weekend of the Sept 28th-29th. We'll have our Meet & Greet at George's farm Friday evening (there's a rock garden, some mud, & some cool trails  ), then we'll wheel Stony on Saturday. Our events are family events, too - so plan on your wife and son coming, as well.
God bless.

You don't live right off the main road in Bluff City do ya? I drive that way to the races and there was a jeep identical to yours sitting in the front yard.
Good looking jeep!!

Welcome. Make sure and try to come to the Meet and Greet. Also good idea on not going solo.
