hey, thanks for validating my account. my primary purpose for joining is educational, i hope to be able to pick up quality advice and tips to further my off-roading hobby. i am very new to actually building a ride. in the past all i thought was needed was a 4wd and a clear title, HAHA!! i am learning that the 91 wrangler i just purchased will be a money pit. i own four 4X4's total and will try and post photos of them all as i figure out how to do that. i was glad to see that this seems to be family oriented, many organizations make that claim but dont always follow through. i work and live in johnson city, tn with my family. i just returned from iraq in may. i enjoy many activities but consider myself a master of none. anyway, back to the vehicles... i have owned the 91 wrangler for a week now, it is a stock I-6 w/automatic tranny. my wife has a newer tahoe, i am not allowed near it much. my daily is a 96 explorer with 180K miles and toyo AT tires, i call her the warthog because it seems nothing will stop her. i keep making round trips to ft. bragg in that explorer and only have to change the oil. my final ride is my 97 S-10 ZR2, she is only still around because she is paid for and she goes to the dump every couple of weeks. the warden (wife) wants to sell her but i think a long term project would be a better idea. anyway, this is a little too long but i do appreciate the membership opportunity.
