ax5 to ax15 swap

well i finally got something to work with. the jeep has been sittin since the soa was done (only got 2 rides before the tranny went). found a deal on a ax15. so i am going to do the swap using a dakota bell housing. i still have to find a 23 spline 231 transfer or change the input gear on mine. if anyone has done either of these task or have some info, hook a brother up.

I know where a 231 from a TJ is. This should be 23 spline but it is in the Spring Hill area. Already has a hack and tap SYE in it. I think he wanted something like $700 for it. Only has like 63k on it.

got the 23 spline input gear put in today seem like it will work. got the ax5 shifter to installed too, into the ax15. hope to have everything wraped up by wed.

i am havin a problem finding a clutch disk, i checked advance, napa , and o riely. so far i have tryed:
84, chevy camero 4 sp 4cyl 9-1/8" 1-1/8x10......... out
84, ford mustang 2.3l w/svo turbo 9" 1-1/16x10...... out
1988 ford mustang 2.3l without turbo 8-1/2" 1-1/16x10 ...... in but will 1/2 inch change anything????? i notice searching that the difference was less than inch, so will 1/2 less not hold as good???
