View Full Version : Labor Day weekend ride

Figured since it hasn't been discussed yet, I'd open up a thread for possible wheeling on Labor Day weekend. What does everyone feel like - Bumpus, Bays, Stoney, Harlan, etc? Which days?

I'll probably have to work Sat (Fri night graveyards), and definitely have to go into work Monday night. Other than wrenching on our Jeeps, that is my schedule. Guess I'm up for a Sunday afternoon ride.

Wish I could - the last of my vacation days for this year is scheduled for Oct. 19th :wink: I used up 9 days of them during our July 2 week shutdown.

BUT - I could always head to Evarts at 7am Sat morning & nap once I get on the mountain. :wink:

Tellico sounds tempting too, but I'm a bit concerned with the long trip in my linocln locked beater at interstate speeds. I'd have to plot a backroads route.

Hhhmmm - is this the same place in Sneedville that someone posted up a while back that had all those boulders on a private farm?

Since there's lots of time opportunities here over the holiday weekend, I started a thread for Saturday during the day (Paint???), Sunday afternoon (somewhere???), and George has the Graceland thread for Friday and Saturday evenings. Shawn has one up for Monday.

I know we all can't be everywhere, but...........

How 'bout let's have some fun and fellowship? Some of you folks who haven't been out in awhile, or are new here, too. Chime in.
