Thanks for the warm welcome. I am from Waynesville NC. I am married with a 4 month old son. The Rubi is an 04 auto 2" BB 32x11.50 on steel wheels. I told several of my friends about this site last night, so I think they may join as well. We are planning a trip to Bumpus this weekend and was hoping to tag along if that is ok.

Is this trail 4x4 only or can atv's join as well?

No ATV's are permitted at Bumpus. The only ATV area around here is called Buffalo Mtn in Johnson City.

Bumpus Cove is US Forest Service property, and USFS doesn't allow ATV's on most of their trails - street legal vehicles (with current registration) only.
