Glow pligs or GP relay

Yep, I'd try plugging it in. If that helps its probably time for glows or a relay.

I would think glow plugs or glow plug relay. Try turning it on to let it heat up two or three times before starting it.

I agree with the others. If it runs fine once it is started then it is a pre-heat issue.

Like said above. I'd start with the "tuneup" items. Filter, glow plugs and relay. The 6.0 had a VG variable geometry turbo, these were known to get stuck. I'm no expert but I'd google it and see if that might be a contributor.
If those don't help I'd look at the "spark plugs" (injectors)
Injectors are not cheap. Search around and see if you can find a local place that can test them. Both flow and spray pattern are very critical. These change over time and it only takes a very small amount of debris to clog or damage them.
God speed!
it was the FICM...any opinions..also his thinkin about tunin it afterwards. advice would be aweeeesommmee!!!

Get a custom burned one, but do the EGR delete, head studs, and upgrade injectors.

It's a pretty easy fix. Here's the details. If you are not comfortable doing the soldering I will do that part for $20 if you can bring it to Computer Pros in Elizabethton. Most any electronics place should be able to do it for the same price.
