I am having a leaking problem on my front output on a np208. It is leaking from the center of the yoke so its the little rubber star seal that is bad. I am having trouble locating one. Does anyone have one or know where to get them and not pay a ton for them?
Thanks
Clint

If it's like other ones I have worked on what you have found is some squeezed out silicon. Take the yoke off and clean it and the splines. Then silicon the splines and put the yoke in. It should create another one, but the real goal is to seal the splines against the inside of the yoke.

Nope its a real seal. I have the part number. Its a 2.50 part but everyone wants like 12+ to ship.

I bet if you silicon it like I said you won't need that seal.

Tried black Rtv and it leaked out over time. I may try silicone this time. Just tired of leaving puddles everywhere I go.

Silicon and black RTV are the same. Just make sure its very clean before putting it on. You might try bowmans for the seal.

Why not just make it out of a piece of old inner tube? It doesn't have to be perfect, just bigger than the threads, and smaller than the outer diameter of the nut.

Ahhh its not going to work trust me. The one I have on there right now is kinda small and odd fitting like that and it leaks bad.
