I'm looking to line the inside of my samurai with some bed liner. What brand works the best? I'm not worried about fading, as long as it won't chip/peel off easily. Thanks in advance.

I did my front floor boards with herculiner. Looks good and has held up so far but it isn't that old. There may be a better product out there but I had some of that on hand.

Did my jeep with hurculiner but it's only a few weeks old at this point. Can't really advise either way this early.

I've had my yota floors herculined for about 3 years or so and I've beat it to death. Its yet to chip or even fade. I've also got a friend that herkd his xj on the outside completely even the roof and its been on there for 4 years or better and he's hit trees rolled it anything you can think of and it hasn't chipped yet. It did fade some however but a good can of rattle and good as new. But no matter which one you choose its all about the prep work. Be sure to sand every piece of metal that you want to apply and do this 2-3 times and when you think its ready you still need sand some more. I personally put sealler down on mine like you use in painting a car it purpose it to help adhere the herk and help solve those pesky spots that you thought you sanded good enough. Summit offers a full line of products for this or local paint shop for automotive paint.

I used both Herculiner and Rustoleum bedliner on my last XJ. I only had the jeep for about 6 months after that... but in that time I could tell the Herculiner was a much better product.

The Rustoleum bed liner was thick and gummy, like tar. It went on uneven and dried to more of a rubberized finish. So even after it was dry, if the inside of the jeep got hot the Rustoleum stuff would soften up a little. The Herculiner went on evenly and had a more textured finish. It also dried hard as a rock and stayed that way.

I can't speak about the durability as I only had the jeep for a short time after that. But if I could do it over again I would go with Herculiner for the whole thing.

I went with the Herculiner. It went on easy, and looks good. Thanks for the replies. I used an entire gallon on my Zuki. It covered better than I thought it would. 2 coats would have been enough, but i went with 3 on the floorboards and cargo area.
