I am doin a few surveys and need your help.....please answer if you can you dont have too but it will be nice if you did.....this is summer assiment for an english class i am taking in the fall (just so you know)

The men and women that have/are serving this country!!

2. What are the causes of evil and suffering in the world?.....

I think it's got to do with the way people are taught/brought up in this world. They aren't taught to love, be kind, help, be there when someone needs them. They are taught to fend for themselves and the heck with others.




3. What role, if any, does the church play in alleviating these evils and sufferings?........

Spreading the word of God. Being there for people in the community and worldwide that have needs.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!!!

1. Someone who can bring an end to all the wars and conflict around the globe.
(Scripturally, this won't happen until after the rapture...but it is what the world wants ;) )

My hero in society is anyone who steps out in any given situation and does what is right not looking at the results first.

2. What are the causes of evil and suffering in the world?.....
Satan, and the control that we as Christians have allowed him to have on society, and out personal lives.

3. What role, if any, does the church play in alleviating these evils and sufferings?........
The Chruch should be in the role of education of what is right and wrong, but more often than not Churches today try to make us feel better about what is going wrong in our lives not show us how to fix it. Fix it through the Blood Of Jesus Christ.

2. What are the causes of evil and suffering in the world?.....Complacency on the part of our leaders. Plus, there currently, is no deterent to crime.

3. What role, if any, does the church play in alleviating these evils and sufferings?........The Church is the ONLY function which still teaches values, morality, and love for one another.

2.) Mans selfishness, greed, and pleasure seeking morality

3.)Church is one of the few places of refugee from the opressions of the world. The church should a be a place of safety. A place that eduates and arms people to go out and face the evils of the world to try to make it better.

1) men and women in the military and the missionaries that go places that i wouldn't even dare to.

2) Lack of God fearing people

1. An honest, upstanding, trustworthy, brave, unselfish, above reproach, humble, person of integrity.
2. Sin and sinfull choices by sinfull people, with the temptation of demonic forces thrown in for good measure.
3. The church can only pray and set an example of Christlikeness for others to follow. The church has a responsibility to be the light in a dark world, and the church can and is making a huge difference in places where it takes it's responsibilities seriously. In many countries the holy Spirit through the church is changing countries, in the US the church has royally dropped the ball and we are paying the consequences. The church in America needs to quit living on the fence, seeing how close it can snuggle to sin without "participating" in the sin. God says, He would rather us be hot or cold than lukewarm. The church needs to call sin "sin" and separate itself from it. The church is in the world and shouldn't be part of it. Just my .02, hope I didn't sound too much like a preacher.
