What's going to happen as a result of the buy out?

Good question. If the merger goes though, it will mean quite a few things.
T-Mobile customers will be able to keep their cheap plans they are on. If they ever want to change minutes, they will have to change to an AT&T plan.
T-Mobile customers service will improve.
AT&T's service will improve greatly.
AT&T will cover 95% of the US with LTE technology.
More access to a local store than before.
Are you on T-Mobile or AT&T?

I will say I have been sadly disappointed with AT&T since they bought Cingular. My service has gone downhill. Luckily my contract is up and I can shop around. In our area, working for the government we get better discounts through sprint and verizon. i wish At&T would match. Besides that I enjoy my phone.

Sorry to hear that. PM me your address and I can check for any new towers or anything going up in the area if you would like. Do you have the government discount on your account now? Off the top of my head, I belive government employees get 15% off per month.

That is correct it is 15% but the other 2 services offer 20% in our area. There is places in open area where get consistent drop calls. these dead zones are annoying because they are all around my house. :tongue3: But I am not wanting to sound like I hate at&t. They do well when I am in the city and overall its not bad, but it does not seem to be as good as it was in the days of cingular.

I'm with AT&T
My wife has a net 10 phone and loves the coverage.
Can you help me unlock an old AT&T blackberry? I want. My wife to be able to use it on her net 10 plan. I'm planning on keeping my AT&T iPhone for a while though.
