I put in the heavier stuff. I think it's 90/140

If you are not towing, I would use the 75w90 stuff. Use the heavier if towing, although it won't hurt either way. I also would not use synthetic in an off road vehicle since you have a good chance of getting water in the diff, which would mean you could be changing it out a couple times a year. The more expensive synthetic would be wasted for the amount of time it would spend in the diff.
