being this close to bristol, i figured there's got to be some around here. i'm getting close to gettin my engine mods done and would be curious how my numbers change. clifford claims that my intake/header combo will make 50% over stock with a 390 cfm carb, but i'm using the howell chevy TBI setup with an aero turbine exhaust thrown in  it seems reasonable since that would mean gains of 90-120 hp  , but if i make another 50 hp at the wheels, i'll be tickled.

Try Blue Oval Performance on Bloomingdale Pike, Kingsport. (288-8488) Tell Beau Rob sent you. He has one. That is the shop that I used to own with him. There is another one out at Northeast State. Ernie started a Motorsports program out there. I am not sure if they use it outside of school though. I will find out about that one.

Oh that would be cool if NorthEast state would allow its use, seeing as I work next door to it. I would ALso like to know my numbers. The stock samurai engine creates 63 hsp when new. My head has been re-done and I have a weber carb with a high flow in-take/fliter and a Doug Thorely Header. My torque may not have changed all that much but I know the horse power has. Not to mention all that chrome under the hood has to account for something

why does everything have to be in kpt? :( i emailed northeast, figured it worth a shot. i may end up just doin the mods then dyno and just compare that to stock instead of doing it twice.

Ride revolutions is nothing more than a nice pretty empty building now. It has been vacant for a month or two now..

Maybe that is why it closed down, I never went there either. I just talked to someone about the Dyno at NESTCC, and he asid to call and get a hold ov Erine. He is the one that is over the Automotive program out there. I am not sure if it is open to the public, but you migh be able to get something done.

Ride has been gone since sept of last year. I went in there every now and then to chat with them about a few things, but that was about it. They were like a lot of the ricer performance places, kinda snobby and the "give me all your money" attitude.

True, their attitude didn't help our church fundraiser show there last year. But one of my friends at church (Russell) has a '94 Mustang they modded at RR, and the only faster Moose I've rode in was a '68 coupe - tubbed, tunnel ram, and had a 250hp nitrous system.
