used galvanized pipe

I am doing some yard work with railroad ties and I like to use galvanized pipe as stakes. Used and clogged is ok. If I can't get some I'll use rebar.

what size pipe? i have about 12 feet of 1.5 or 2" i believe its galvanized. it was used as pipe for a hand pump that went in a well from the late 1800's on a house we have down on our farm and its not rusted..lol . if you want it let me know and ill bring it by
