I just retrned from a trail ride at Gulches OHV Park in upstate SC. It's not much but it's all we have in South Carolina

The weather forecast gave a 40% chance of rain for the afternoon of the ride. Therefore for the week prior I asked our Lord not to have it rain while we were on the trails. I do not have the money to afford a tow vehicle and a trailer to haul the Jeep and have to change tires when I want to ride on the trails and be successful in over coming the rocks  The night before I asked the Lord to please hold off the rain until I had a chance to change back to my "street" tires for the return trip home. I always need help because of my disabilities from 28 years of military service and can no longer lift those heavy 35 X 12.50 Super Swampers.

The day started off with bright suuny weather and the trail ride was great. Afterwardswhen It came time to put on the street tires and 30 minutes after we had completed the change the thundeerstorms moved in with gusto.

Our Lord is awesome and this shows the powewr of prayer and God can control the weather.

I will see y'all at Grey Rock

Here's another. I drive the bus at church. After taking a load home from the early service yesterday I get back just as the late service is starting. This girl is in front of me in a HURRY. Pulls in and gets the #1 parking spot! Smiles as she goes in. Is about the first one out and comes by to laugh about being late. Never seen her before but she wants to talk, you know women :) Later in the day my wife and I are at the Farmer's Market and I see her looking at flowers. We go over and introduce ourselves and the girl is desperate for a friend. My wife invites her to her women's group and the girl jumps on it! She was SO grateful that we had stopped to talk to her. I know that God engineered these events, probably as much for me as for her. He's there in our lives everyday, all the way, if we just look for Him!
