I noticed that most of you seem to be from TN but I hail from here in blustery and cold central PA. My name is James, and if you visit my profile youll notice that I grew up picking up wrenches from the various garage floors around town here. My father was a mechanic his entire life and never wanted me to turn a wrench on a car. Unfortunately, he passed away 2 yrs ago and left me his vehicles and the wrench work to go with. I have always loved the smell of a garage, and the sound of a V8 running wide open down the quarter stretch. More recently I started hanging out with guys that like to run their "quarter" in the mud. HAHA. My dad left me a 90 Jeep cherokee laredo to use as a plow truck, and while it does great plowing (when it's running... see my post in the questions section lol.....) I've been contemplating lifting it, or buying another and lifting that instead. My buddies are constantly building bigger and better rigs and putting them to an extreme test. I've helped add 3 link suspensions and watched as spider gears were welded together, and watched some truly ugly projects turn into beautiful creations in a matter of days. I love getting my hands greasy and dirty and I love the sound of knobby tires running down the asphalt on the way to the hill climb. Thats me. Any questions? Feel free to ask!
