Well, this project is going to take a while...so don't expect much in the form of updates.
I'm starting with a 94 YJ frame and tub. the whole tub needs to be sandblasted since it was in a fire and all the paint burned off it and now its nothing but surface rust. The frame is in good shape but will need to change a few things. I got a set of full width ford bronco axles (hp44 and 9") to go under it. I have a set of xj leafs flipped around backwards bolted in the rear and just made my new crossmember from 2x4 steel the other day. welded up a set of way back shackle hangers from ruff stuff and got some new spring perches too. Should have it rolling real soon.
I picked up a 94 Grand Cherokee Limited to pull the 5.2L and TF727 auto from it. That should be enough power, you think?
I will be going with a coil spring/radius arm set up for the front. I have to pick up some tubing to extend them. as soon as i figure out how to post pics here, i'll put them up.
