Yes, definitely both.

It went quite well. The HR department still isn't aware that I exist, but other than that, I like the guys and the machines I will be working with. The job is in manufacturing engineering for an international company that works with power generation equipment. I'll be in charge of tooling and support for several horizontal boring machines that are as large as a house. It is some really cool and really big stuff. The work environment is great, and my peers seem to be fairly positive about their jobs, unlike some other places I have worked.

Also, there are several 100ton overhead cranes that get exercised on a regular basis, tons (literally) of welding, and huge amounts of huge machining!:kewl: It's right up my alley. I've told people that I got a job at a chip and bead factory!
