I was just informed my parents are going to be going through a divorce. They said they are going to try to keep it peaceful, but I am having a really hard time dealing with it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. and please keep them in your prayers they will need it.

We are praying for them now, hang in there. I know they are your parents & you feel for them but don't let their problems interfer with your life. It's their problem not yours & the best thing you can do is pray & get everyone you know to pray for them.

My parents were divorced when I was very young! It was tough growing up and I'm sure if I was older it probably would have hit me harder. I'll pray for all of you!

my parents were divirced when i was young also. it was hard but i think it was fro the best. sometimes, couples are better off without eachother. everything happens for a reason. will be praying

Everything may happen for a reason but God designed marriage to be Permanent. My prayer will be for them to seek God and work it out. Nothing is too big for my God.

X2! I have seen people that got married & never should have & fight like crazy then get saved & God put love where it wasn't before.

Fireproof. God is The miracle worker. Look at us that were saved. He took a life that was headed for hell, and made it new. When we are saved, and come into a personal relationship with Jesus our lives are radically changed. Yes, God can, and will restore families. Satan wants to destroy the family at its core because that is one institution that God designed (the other being the church family.) Who is more powerful? Satan is a fallen angle created by God. He has no more power than what we give him in our lives. God is the only one that knows ALL, sees All, and feels ALL. If I can do anything at all please let me know. Well put Rob. Send them the movie Fireproof to watch. It has changed the heart of many people in struggling marriages. Also, go to my wifes post about marriage and click on the link to our blog. Lots of good information there. Sharon and I started a marriage ministry at our church and we are doing the "Love Dare" bible study. Actually, I need to get off the computer (phone) and do some studying for tonights class. Good luck and we will keep praying.
