Guys,
Some of you know his story. Cliff notes:
Always wanted to be a missionary pilot since we lived in Africa
At 34 quit his job and moved wife and 3 kids to Spokane WA for Moody's flight program
Finished and raised support.
Adopted a set of premee twins
So that's the quick version. That is about the last 6 years. Everything has fallen into place for them. To see God work has been cool. They are at 100% support. Finished their adoption last Thursday (just in time). Sold their house in 3 days. Now they are almost packed up.
They leave on Tuesday AM. My folks are out there helping. Basically my mom, and sister in law are taking flying with the 5 kids. There stuff is in shipping containers and will go into storage for about 6 months until they find a place to buy. My dad and brother are driving. He bought a trailer and put their suburban on it and are pulling it up with his F250.
Please pray for safety and no problems. It's 2700 miles and the highway apparently hasn't been maintained well. They are gonna try to do it in 3 days. Then when he gets there he will sell the trailer. It's already on craigslist in AK. He has 2 spares and a set of bearings just in case.
By the way the ministry is www.arcticbarnabas.org (http://www.arcticbarnabas.org). They are not on their website due to the adoption. The twins were in the foster care program and it's been and issue until the adoption was final.
