I love this ride although right now it's kinda lame.
This is a factory set up. Got a cb already but I need everything and advice. I need everything street legal, This is my only ride. I need a lift and bigger tires. It's only a 4 cyl. I have had it out all over TN mountains and it does awesome! Right now I need a new tranny in it as well. Other than that im ready to start my building.

Since it'll be a D/D, a couple inch suspension lift and some 31's, a little trail gear, and have fun with it. It'll be low budget. Which tranny do you have? If it's straight drive, make sure you replace the clutch and slave while apart.

Lots of info out here on doing what you're planning. Maybe post up a couple pics to go along with progress reports. Also, do you have a rough budget in mind. I'm sure, like all of us, as little as possible, but if you give us a range, we might could be a little more specific on suggestions for you.

Since it is a YJ I would do a SOA for the lift. Then you should be able to run between a 33-35. This would be a streetable setup for sure.

SOA is definetely the way to go if you want a cheap lift. BDS springs are great because they have a lifetime warranty, you break 'em for any reason and you get a free replacement.

my jeep is an 87 4 cyl. If you are going to get a new tranny I suggest you step up and get the ax 15 you can get a adapter frome advanced adapters. My rig was running a SOA set up with 35" boggers for a long time It was streetable and did great on the trails as well. I think for an inexpensive lift you cant beat the SOA set up. It is easy to do and flexes great. Good luck
