Let's see some praise! I know we all have hardships, but let's not forget to give praise to he who deserves it.

Try to think of something good that is going on and post it up. There's always something good going on if you think about it. If you focus on the good things it's easier to forget the bad and it will keep your spirits up. For example I believe it is equally important to give thanks as much as we ask for things in prayer. I try give praise for my health and ability to walk in all my prayers.

Today I am giving praise for my business. Last month was the best month ever for my business. I am very happy and I know couldn't have done it without his guidance and help.

Remember - through Jesus all things are possible.

Thats good to hear Shawn. Glad your business is going well. He loves to hear our praises and we should always keep that on our mind. When praying, I always start with everything that I'm thankful for, then onto asking for forgivness for anything, then onto my desires.

First and foremost, I praise Him for my family, salvation, and our health.

I praise the Lord for my wife, family, job, salvation, and for Him using me in so many ways. On the 21st of February, I took the pulpit for the first time. It was Baptist Men's Day at my Church and I am the Director. I had several ideas on what I wanted to speak on, but on the day I was to speak, He told me He had something else in mind. As I stood before the congregation, I announced that I had nothing. No notes or ideas. So I asked God to put the words in my mouth that He wanted them to hear. I was told that I did very well, to which I responded "No, God used me as an instrument to speak to you, I had nothing, but He provided".

I give praise for my family, a handful of close friends, and my girlfriend. Its tough being on my own. Most of my family lives a few hours away. My friends are scattered to the four winds. Even my GF lives 45 minutes away. But they all do a great job of keeping in touch and offering their support and prayers when I need it most.

I also give praise for my job. I may not always care for my co-workers, or for some of the less-than-pleasant things I have to do at work. But I truly love what I do (at least the end result, and the mission behind it)... and I'm good at it. That means a lot to me.

This is just one praise that I have.
I want to give thanks to the people on this board. There are many of you that have no idea that you influence me in my every day walk with God. If I start to stray or fall down on the job then I read something here and it reminds me of my responsibility. Reminds me of what God has done for me and all of you. All in all, it reminds me of how great God truly is.

So, I just want to give thanks to God for working on me through each of you.

I want to agree with exactly what Bill said...

Also, I thank God everyday for allowing me to wake up to face another... Even though I look forward to the day when I can be with him, I know that my job here on earth isnt done.

I definately give praise for my future wife, family, job, friends, life in general...

Today I'm happy for my safe travels. Black ice was worse today than all year. I had no problems even though there were many wrecks in my area.
